LifeLines was a Unix based Genealogy program that had a very cool report programming language associated to it. I stop using it many years ago but now it has moved to communitity development and is located at http://lifelines.sourceforge.net/ I moved some of my efforts to Perl and PHP web based applications the which you can see at http://swoodbridge.com/family/Woodbridge/ and found Gedcom.pm which has a very cool lines2perl compiler that converts LifeLines reports into standalone Perl applications. Check out the link to "LifeLines Software" I wrote ps-pedigree report that generates a multipy page indexed pedigree book with an index. You can get it here or via the "LifeLines Software" link to SourceForge. The files that work with LifeLines are here as well as a self contained Perl version. You will need ps-pedi.ps and ps-pedigree.pl for the Perl version. -Stephen Woodbridge woodbri@swoodbridge.com
